CGI Federal, a leader in providing business process outsourcing services to public housing authorities throughout the US, is looking for individuals to fill the roles of Local Contract Specialists (LCS). Working remotely from his/her home in the State of FL and under the direction of the Local Services Manager / State Contract Manager, the LCS is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of specified core tasks for approximately 45 multi-family housing contracts subsidized under HUD's Project Based Section 8 Housing program, which is part of a contract administration case management team. The LCS works closely with property owners to ensure compliance pursuant to HUD policy. Specific responsibilities will include the following:

• Ensure 100% of onsite reviews are properly scheduled and performed in compliance with contractual and client requirements
• Effectively compile and writes Management and Occupancy Review (MOR) reports detailing specific findings, criteria and corrective actions in the monitoring of project compliance in the following areas: Marketing and Tenant Selection, Leasing and Occupancy, Rent Determination and Subsidy Requests, Management of Maintenance Program, Response to Safety Concerns, Management of Tenant Relations, Review of Fair Housing/EEOC policies and procedures
• Timely and accurate follow-up to ensure adequate responses to close the MOR report
• Establish and maintain good relations with owners, residents and their representatives, neighborhood groups and local governments
• Respond fully and promptly to inquiries and dispatches from Contract Specialists, Quality Assurance personnel, Finance and Reporting personnel and Customer Contact personnel
• Maintain complete and detailed files and provide the Team Leader and/or Manager with data and records requested in a timely manner
• Successfully complete all required training programs within prescribed period
• Participate in ensuring a fully functional contract administration case management system to meet 100% of the required deadlines and avoid contractual penalties
• The LCS will work from their home-based office, but will be required to go to a CGI federal office when needed and have their own high-speed Internet access

To be considered for one of these challenging positions, applicants must have a majority of the following skills, knowledge and abilities:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• 2-5 years property management, claims processing or case management preferred
• Professional, organized and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Skills in the areas of business math, data entry, record keeping and account management
• Competent in the Use of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Assisted housing programs expertise is highly desired

** This position requires 50-75% travel
