Requests
- Contracts renewed under
MAHRA: 120 days before the anniversary date of your contract, submit
rent adjustment requests.
- Contracts renewed under
Options 2, 3, 4, and 5 are eligible for either an OCAF or a
budget-based adjustment.
- Contracts renewed under
Option 1 are eligible for an OCAF adjustment only.
- Pre-MAHRA Contracts: 60
days before the anniversary date of your contract, submit an AAF
request.
I renewed my contract last year for five years but my CCS called me
requesting that I submit an Attachment 3. Why?
Even though your contract was renewed for five years,
funding is obligated on an annual basis. If you are requesting a rent
adjustment for the upcoming year, your CCS needs an Attachment 3 from you
at least 120 days before the anniversary date of your contract to ensure
funds are obligated for the next year of your contract. If you wish to have
NO rent adjustment, you must submit a letter stating that no rent
adjustment is being requested.
If I do send a letter saying I don't want a rent adjustment, can I later
get an increase in my rents?
Yes. You submit the appropriate forms for the type of
rent adjustment you are requesting; however, the rent adjustment will not
be retroactive. Therefore, it is an advantage to submit a rent adjustment
request in a timely manner.
